While I discovered Sue Tirrells work a while ago and met her in person last year
in Montana, you may have not seen her work. This woman knows how to
make a pot that really works well. Perfect cups and plates that hold
food like a professional. Her imagery appears at first to be just pretty farm animals but quickly you realize that there is an axe behind that chicken and there is a wolf waiting to eat that rabbit! I guess living and working in Montana makes it hard to ignore the realities of nature.
