So I finally got the containers I made at Belden Brick Factory last year all planted up. These are made of Ohio red brick clay that is heavy with shale and other rocks. I brought some of my molds (usually used for porcelain) to the factory, pressed the red clay into them and then built up and out. It is a once fire process so the decoration was limited to under glaze and some of the oxides they use there for labeling.

Let The Fun Begin
So after all that mold making the fun really started, as you can see I completely trashed my studio but I made a lot of dishes. I am preparing for two craft shows next month. The first is the Art Star Craft Bazaar at the very end of this month and the second is In Liquid's Art for the CashPoor

Show at Baltimore Clay Works
Rebecca Harvey was nice enough to invite me to participate in this show at the Baltimore Clay Works. I did not get to attend but the images look great. If you click on the link you can see the gallery of work. My friend Muyng from the Clay Studio in Philadelphia and a new Philly pal Dylan Beck.
